" On the positive side, they are awesome! Did a great job protecting the front of my 5th wheel trailer on our 1300 mile journey. Rubber is very thick and should last for quite a while. Being thick rubber, they are a bit heavy. One person can do the installation with slight difficulty, two would be able to do it easily. Glad that I got these! "

" I ordered the vehicle specific Rockstar to protect trailers. I have a 3500 and they come with a 2.5" receiver hitch. I was disappointed the standard order comes with a 2" receiver mount so it would not fit my 2.5" hitch I was using. I needed find a 2" receiver hitch and sleeve. Contacted ACI and they were very helpful letting me know there is a 2.5" mounting hardware set. Annoyed that a vehicle specific application does not have the options when ordering. I think it was less than $15 for the hardware set and now I can use 2" or 2.5" as I need. Add the option for applicable sizes to the online ordering and this would have been a 5 star review. I love the look and it is very sturdy. It doesn't wiggle around back there when it is mounted and adjusted correctly. I worried about the 2 protector tabs against the back of the vehicle bumper rubbing marks. If you make sure the bumper is clean then it doesn't leave any real marks. I didn't like the look of the plastic discs on my bumper and I figured if it was going to rub through the protectors, then that thin clear disc wasn't going to do much either. I put some gasket maker material in in the protector before mounting to add some cushion in case it did move around but don't seem to need it. I don't leave it on all the time and taking it off takes about 5 minutes and a 9/16 wrench. You don't have to take it apart, just need to loose 4 nuts to allow it to slide off the receiver hitch. I use my Rockstar with a B&W Tow & Stow ball hitch and they work great together. and you get full function of both products when mounted together. I also have an Access Lorado roll-up cover on this truck. This is the 4th vehicle I have put a Lorado cover on. They outlast the vehicle every time but the new owners always want the roll-up cover kept with the vehicle when I sell them. I'm a very happy ACI customer. " I ordered these mudflaps because I thought they would be thicker rubber in better quality than other options online and they were. I'm happy with the quality and the hardware included I was able to install them myself. I ordered the universal fit because they did not have an option for a Nissan Frontier. I am a handy person so the install went fine. Thanks for offering the unique product. "
